Female Seeds - nevertheless they produce 99.9% female plants

Female Seeds is the end result of a company that has produced many regular Cannabis seeds for the major seed companies over the past 15 years. This is a process of breeding, cross-breeding, creation, development and control of many different strains. Female Seeds has currently switched to producing only female (feminized) seeds. Their aim is to produce female seeds that result in plants of maximum quality.

At the moment, Female Seeds seeds are not quite as stable as cuttings, but they still produce 99.9% female plants.

Own idea

Female seeds are developed from pure female plants without hermaphroditic characteristics. This results in 100% reliable female plants - whatever the circumstances. Feminized seeds are developed from mother plants with hermie traits. However, they are tested for pure female characteristics under the most "difficult" circumstances before being launched on the market. These seeds are slightly more sensitive to environmental factors, but under normal circumstances have a 99.9% female content. For each variety we give a stability value as a percentage; the higher the percentage, the more similar the plants are, and the lower the value, the more different the plants are from each other.

Care and attention

Female Seeds is committed to providing its customers with seeds of the highest quality. For this reason, our seed products are packaged under protected conditions and refrigerated (3 - 5°C) to ensure maximum freshness. After harvesting, each batch of seeds is thoroughly inspected and tested for germination and reliability. Seed lots that are obviously unreliable are definitely destroyed. These numerous checks have shown that the germination rate of our seeds is over 95%.

Our seeds are then packed in bags with opaque foil. This serves to protect the seeds against the destructive power of light and to give the seeds the longest possible storage time. We are one of the first seed suppliers to indicate on each seed bag which seed lot the contents come from. This can be checked by means of a so-called batch number, which corresponds to the packaging date. If the seeds are stored in the refrigerator, at least 80% of the seeds will still germinate after five years!
