Kalashnikov Seeds - Group of Moldovan breeders with a military background

Kalashnikov Seeds is a group of Moldovan breeders with a military background, living and working in Russia. They have been involved in cannabis breeding since 2002. This seed bank cooperates with international partners from St. Petersburg, Altai and the Far East. Together they create new seeds.

All their strains are based on the AK 47 from Serious Seeds, which includes Dutch, Spanish, East European and Afghani landraces.

In addition to automatic and feminized seeds, they have created a range of EXPRESS strains:
AK Kush Express, Kalashnikov Express and Baikal Express.

Kalashnikov Seeds EXPRESS varieties: Fast flowering cannabis plants without autoflowering - A new innovation from Russia

These three classes are characterized by shorter flowering times compared to their feminized counterparts. EXPRESS varieties are fast-flowering plants that are not autoflowering. This is a novelty on the world market, to avoid counterfeiting the breeders do not give any information about the background of the varieties.

The seed bank is trying to overthrow key positions in the Russian cannabis market that are currently occupied by the Dutch and the Spanish. Thus, they intend to prove that Russian seeds are not inferior. Moreover, to be honest, they are even partly better than many European strains. To prove this case, they will be present at future cannabis fairs to attract interest in their genetics. Since 2008, it has become apparent that their strains are gradually gaining popularity outside Russia.
