Auto Malawi x Northern Lights - ACE Seeds Autoflowering
We present ACE Seeds ’s first 100% autoflowering strain: Auto Malawi x Northern Lights.
It is a Sativa/Indica hybrid with outstanding vitality and structure that forms a massive main stem and powerful side branches with well-resinous buds; its yield and quality will surprise even the most experienced autoflowering growers.
The first version of this hybrid produces three main phenotypes. The first, more Indica-dominant phenotype matures in just 8 weeks after flowering begins, guaranteeing an average yield. The second phenotype (the most interesting, in our opinion) produces strong Sativa / Indica plants (with a flowering time of about 9–9.5 weeks), featuring massive yields, highly complex terpene profiles, abundant resin production, and an excellent flower-to-leaf ratio. The third and final phenotype develops into an almost pure Sativa during flowering (typically requiring about 10–12 weeks of flowering), allowing autoflowering growers to experience African Sativa phenotypes, which are quite rare on today’s cannabis market.
Auto Malawi x Northern Lights is more influenced by purple Malawi phenotypes than other Malawi crosses; it often displays beautiful purple and pink hues toward the end of flowering.
Its terpene profiles are fragrant and complex. The aromas in the flower can range from distinctly sweet and strawberry-yogurt-like (in the Sativa Purple Malawi phenotypes) to fruity (pineapple, pear, peach) in the more yielding green Sativa/Indica phenotypes. The most extreme Sativa phenotypes have woody aromas and a longer flowering time.
As is typical with autoflowering strains, Auto Malawi x Northern Lights begins to flower 4 or 5 weeks after germination, regardless of the indoor photoperiod or the outdoor season, allowing it to mature properly at latitudes far from the equator, where normal strains bloom too late to mature properly.
It can also be grown outdoors in northern climates without any concerns!
Auto Malawi x Northern Lights has excellent adaptability and is considered one of the milder autoflowering strains with Sativa genes.
