A-Train feminized by T.H. Seeds
With the name referring to a subway line in Manhattan, the A-Train strain is a cross between the Mazar strain from Afghanistan and a version of Trainwreck that first emerged in Northern California in the 1960s. This strain is a balanced combination of sativa and indica. Mazar came second in the Indica section of the 1999 High Times Cannabis Cup. A-Train itself was selected as one of the top 10 strains of 2009 by renowned cannabis reporter Danny Danko.
A-Train Weed has an odor that develops heavy with skunky hash and a complex flavor that includes notes of sweet fruit, eastern spices, lemon and mint. After a few puffs of A-Train, YOU will experience a cozy, relaxing high with a hint of euphoria. It is a good weed for socializing, or for hiking. Medicinally, A-Train can help with stress and poor appetite.
A-Train seeds produce very bushy plants that grow between 120 and 140 centimeters tall. The plants have a high leaf-to-bud ratio and the flowers are roundish and fairly dense. The THC value is in the average range of 14 to 18 percent.
Grown indoors, these plants get the best flavor when planted in soil or in hydro systems for improved yields. As harvest approaches, the plants need support, as some of the heavy buds cannot support the branches. The flowering time is seven to nine weeks and yields are around 300 to 350 grams per square meter.
Outdoors, A-Train needs a warm climate similar to the Mediterranean climate and the harvest can be collected in mid-October.
The A-Train strain is not the biggest producer among modern cannabis strains, but offers high quality 1A grade harvests that combine the best characteristics of sativas and indicas.
