Brainstorm was significantly improved in 1998, resulting in a real breakthrough in its development. Brainstorm (formerly called Hempstar) is a hardy plant with the strength and good yield of the popular Northern Lights #5, coupled with the best Dutch Passion 100% Haze genetics.
Brainstorm rewards with a long, very consistent and strong high and offers a flavor-balanced, mild smoking experience. Hempstar is known for its record yields and is a perfect strain for cuttings.
Brainstorm (formerly Hempstar) genetics were first added to Dutch Passion's seed collection in 1996. In 2006 there was a second "update" of this variety, for which a super clone was selected from the original seeds. The feminized Brainstorm line is produced with precisely this super clone.
