Methods
SCROG
SCROG is a simple method in which a screen (e.g. wire or twine) is placed between the light source and the plants. The branches grow through the screen and are guided so that they fill it evenly. This makes optimum use of the light and the branches do not obstruct each other.
SOG
SOG = Sea of Green.The Sea of Green method is one of the most productive cultivation methods and enables fast, high yields. Unlike the SCROG technique, SOG relies on little space with optimum conditions for each individual plant, allowing indica varieties in particular to develop their full potential. The name comes from the uniform appearance: many small, uniform plants stand close together, giving the impression of a "sea of green". Pure Indicas or strongly Indica-dominant varieties are particularly suitable for SOG.
Supercropping
Supercropping is an advanced technique used by experienced growers to increase yields and control plant height. It involves carefully bending stems and slightly damaging the inner fibers without breaking the outer layer. This results in stronger stems and more robust branches that can bear larger flowers. Supercropping also ensures an even leaf canopy, allowing all parts of the plant to receive more light.
