Medicinal Cannabis seeds - a blessing for medicine

Medicinal seeds

Thanks to the hard work of countless Cannabis activists in recent years, there has been a slight shift in legislation towards the legalization of cannabis for medicinal purposes. And since then, cannabis consumers have been eagerly watching dispensaries and growers take it to the next level. Now with hardly any legal limits, medical cannabis growers can grow freely, with the strongest plants and the highest THC & CBD concentrations ever.

The medical use of Cannabis Sativa and Indica.

Hemp, also known as Cannabis or Marijuana (Sativa and Indica - Latin), has therapeutic uses thanks to its unique compounds. According to tradition, cannabis has been used for medicinal purposes for more than 5000 years, as confirmed by recent discoveries in China. The two primary cannabinoids, Delta-9-Tetra-Hydro-Cannabinol (THC or Dronabinol) and Cannbidiol (CBD), are used for a range of medical conditions, with CBD often used for its antiepileptic and antipsychotic effects.

Therapeutically, it is usually administered orally or smoked, with dosing and effects depending on the form of consumption. A gradual increase in dosage is often used to avoid unwanted side effects. Hemp can be consumed in its natural plant form, through the dried female flowers and, in rare cases, leaves. The most well-known form of consumption is hashish. For medical purposes, synthetic cannabinoids are often used in the form of gelatin capsules (Marinol, Dronabinol). Natural hemp products also find use in homeopathy.
