Frisian Dew from Dutch Passion
Frisian Dew from Dutch Passion is one of the most popular outdoor strains worldwide and has been a bestseller for many years. This award-winning hybrid strain, which won 1st place at the Highlife Cup in the Netherlands in 2008, combines sativa and indica genetics to create an extremely robust and high-yielding plant. With a THC content of 10-15% and a high resistance to mold, Frisian Dew is ideal for outdoor growers in all climates.
The terpene profile of Frisian Dew is unique. The dominant terpenes are beta-caryophyllene (39.1%), alpha-pinene (30.4%), beta-pinene (8.7%), humulene (8.6%) and terpineol (4.4%), which gives it a fruity, fresh and floral aroma. The combination of fruity (forest fruits) and lemony aromas with pine-like and lavender-like notes makes the smoking experience particularly pleasant. Some phenotypes also exhibit earthier notes, which can be traced back to their Skunk parents.
Frisian Dew buds are known for their size and colorful appearance. Around 50% of the plants develop purple hues, especially in the tips of the flowers. Its large, dense buds have an excellent flower-to-leaf ratio, which makes it particularly productive. With a flowering time of about 8 weeks Frisian Dew is usually ready to harvest outdoors (northern hemisphere) at the end of September to the beginning of October.
Frisian Dew is perfect for growing outdoors and in greenhouses. Under optimal conditions, it can reach heights of 3-4 meters and yields of several kilograms per plant. per plant. It is particularly resistant to cold, wet weather and also thrives in temperate climates. Its sturdy branches can support heavy, resinous buds, making it an ideal strain for outdoor growers.
The effect of Frisian Dew is a balanced hybrid effect. At smaller doses, it offers an energetic, creative high that is ideal for daytime use. Higher doses, on the other hand, lead to a relaxing "body stone" that is perfect for winding down at the end of the evening. If you prefer a stronger sativa high, it is advisable to harvest it a little earlier. For a stronger indica effect and a narcotic effect, harvest her later.
Frisian Dew is an easy-to-grow strain that is also suitable for novice growers. It is forgiving of many mistakes and does not require special fertilization schedules. However, to achieve the best results, it is advisable to grow it completely organically. By using techniques such as Low Stress Training (LST), Super Cropping and pruning, the yield can be further maximized.
If you're looking for a stable, high-yielding outdoor strain that will grow in almost any conditions, Frisian Dew is the perfect choice. Her high yields, combined with her resilience and exceptional Terpene profile, make her one of the best outdoor strains on the market.

Pot choice: 11l pot filled with quality potting soil from the grow supply store around the corner Cultivation location: direct sunlight approx. 4 hours a day, otherwise semi-shaded Fertilizer: at the end two to three times with Hesi fertilizer Pests, my tip! water with garlic stock :-)
I germinated the seeds at the end of June. I started fertilizing at the end of July when it was about 35 cm tall. It grew to a bushy height of 80 cm. The result was airy buds. Very little odor development. The high is pleasant and medium to strong. A must for colder or higher regions and beginners. Conclusion: recommended beginner strain.
