Afgooey by Strain Hunters
A sea of glistening resin, intense fruity notes and an uncompromising high - Afgooey from Strain Hunters brings legendary Northern California genetics directly into your grow setup and transforms every run into a particularly aromatic project.
The basis of this strain is the Afghan x Maui Haze cross, carefully stabilized as a feminized S1 line. With its ratio of 70% Cannabis Indica / 30% Sativa, it combines the compact power of classic Indicas with a clearly noticeable, sativa-influenced head effect. A formerly exclusive clone has thus been transformed into a seed line that gives you permanent access to this coveted genetics.
Afgooey grows into a rather short, bushy plant with a very narrow internodal distance of less than 5 cm. The branches and stems are sturdy, the leaves thick and dark green with overlapping fingers. Indoors it reaches a height of only 8 weeks flowering time is a strain that matures quickly, making it ideal for growers who plan to make quick runs with high yields. Dense, pear-shaped buds with medium-sized calyxes build up an impressive layer of resin during flowering and ensure a very "fat" appearance.
Afgooey shows its full potential in terms of yield: under optimal conditions up to 0.9 g dry material per watt possible with 1000W HPS systems, which corresponds to typical indoor yields of around 500 g/m². Outdoors, the strain can grow to a height of around 150-170 cm under normal conditions and produce around 700 g/plant; with very large specimens, harvests of over 1 kg of dried, cultivated buds are even possible. The strong structure and dense flower pattern also make it interesting for sea-of-green and SCROG setups, especially as it tolerates EC values of up to around 1.8 well.
Afgooey offers a multi-layered flavor profile: when burned, it has a citrusy, fruity, kushy and slightly earthy effect. The unburnt scent is reminiscent of orange and lemon, combined with tropical fruits and typical Kush notes - an intense, exotic Terpene profile, which is characterized by myrcene, ocimene, caryophyllene and humulene. The crumbled bud is light green with darker shades and is clearly sticky, which emphasizes the strong resin production.
The effect is described as extremely powerful, cerebral and sometimes confusing - creative, but also slightly chaotic and clearly intoxicating. The pronounced THC content of around 20.5 % is accompanied by a moderate CBD content of around 0.53 % and CBN of around 0.47 %. The high sets in quickly and lasts for a long time without necessarily tiring you out; Afgooey is therefore more suitable for experienced consumers who are looking for an intense strain with a strong character and a clear focus on the head.
If you are looking for a compact, resin-rich plant with a short flowering time, high yield and an exceptionally fruity, citrus-accented Kush profile, Afgooey delivers exactly this complete package. The combination of exclusive clone origin, solid indoor performance and impressive outdoor potential makes this strain an exciting candidate for your next project.
