Mandala #1 regular by Mandala Seeds
Mandala #1 can be used for depression and also has anti-anxiety effects. It has up to 1% which is beneficial for the treatment of glaucoma, as a sleep aid, and for antimicrobial effects. Medically valuable marijuana for a wide range of applications.
Mandala #1 is a fast flowering strain with a sativa effect. We recommend this strain especially for northern climates where a harvest by the end of September is important. Two phenotypes can be recognized among the plants. About 30% of the plants belong to the Sativa phenotype and grow in the shape of a Christmas tree. The leaf structure is similar to the indica pheno. Purple leaf stalks and reddish stripes along the branches are common and should not be confused with nutrient deficiency. If you rub the stem a little during early flowering, the plants have a fragrant woody-herbal scent.* Despite the sativa dominance, the flowers are compact and the plants are easy to grow. The Indica pheno can be recognized by its smaller stature, thicker main stem and larger leaves. The side branches are shorter and grow close to the main stem. This space-saving growth makes the plants particularly suitable for SOG. Towards the top, the side branches become shorter and give the main bud a compact structure. This pheno tends to have a sweet, spicy scent during early flowering. Mandala #1 develops a fairly long, pointed main bud (Coke), which gives the plant a good yield. Resin development is very good both indoors and outdoors. In outdoor cultivation, the main buds are covered with a thick layer of Trichomes that glistens in the sun. Some plants develop beautiful dark purple calyxes which they owe to the New Zealand Purple Indica in the paternal genetics. Manicuring at harvest is very easy as this strain has a predominantly high flower-to-leaf ratio.
Indoor
One of our goals in cannabis breeding is to ensure that our strains are flexible and stable so that the plants can be pre-grown indoors and have no problems with the transition from artificial light to sunlight. Growing cuttings and regenerating Mandala #1 is easy. This strain has a high proportion of landrace genetics, which thrived in nutrient-poor soil in its native habitat. Therefore, even in this cross, the plants will do well with little or no fertilizer if a good potting soil is used and the pots are large enough. Mandala #1 plant size is average and even the Sativa pheno can be grown in low rooms as long as the 12/12 light period is switched on in time. For a Sea of Green (SOG) grow, the Indica pheno is best suited. However, when working with cuttings, both phenos can be used for SOG. The Mandala #1 plants are also suitable for SCROG and other cultivation methods such as tying down the branches.
Outdoor
This early flowering strain combines the characteristics of robust landrace genetics and a very resinous hybrid. The result is a strong plant with high flower quality. The characteristic of low light sensitivity leads to an early start of flowering and enables a good harvest in September. Even if bad weather conditions require an early harvest, the plants will provide a sufficient amount of resinous buds.
A strong up-high that spreads in waves, euphoric, creative, can be dreamy at first.
Sweet and natural like dried apples; the purple-colored plants give off a delicious raspberry scent with a hint of fresh mint.
