This pure Indica seed strain comes directly from the massive mountain range that gave it its name: the Hindu Kush is the western foothills of the Himalayas, covering half of Afghanistan and extending to the borders of Pakistan and India, almost to China in the east. This remote area is of unspoiled beauty and has always been an important trade route between the Middle East, Central and Far Asia. Ancient cannabis traditions from the surrounding cultures have clashed and intermingled over time. Simply put, Hindu Kush is the absolute hub of the world when it comes to true Indica or Afghanica genotypes, or the various types of black hashish that are derived from it.

This strain has been selected for quality and stability over countless generations, but has always been crossed within its own gene pool. Hindu Kush produces very uniform seedlings and is an excellent strain for consistent indoor harvests straight from seed. The plants are dark green, compact and vigorous with the classic, broad-fingered leaves of an Indica. In warmer climates, from about 42 degrees north latitude, Hindu Kush also thrives magnificently outdoors.

Hindu Kush is vigorous and reliable, producing quick harvests of thick Afghani buds, even in the hands of novice growers. Hindu Kush has a subtle scent of sandalwood mixed with the sweet aroma of fresh charras.
