The strain is based on the cross of Super Silver Haze x Afghan, which combines classic Haze heritage with the power of an Afghan line. Its profile as sativa-dominant genetics (65 % Sativa / 35 % Indica) can be felt throughout its character: vigorous growth, lots of resin, and an effect that appeals to both head and body simultaneously. In the 90s, Amnesia was one of the most influential strains in Amsterdam, and to this day remains a staple for all those seeking strong citrus notes and reliable performance.

During growth, Amnesia shows a very vital, vigorous build with strong side branches ready to carry plenty of weight. The plants develop a compact, fir-tree-like structure with tight internodal spacing, resulting in many bud sites. At the same time, the strain is Very resistant to typical problems such as mold, fungal infestation or pests, which is especially beneficial for outdoor growers and makes cultivation overall much more relaxed.

Indoors, the flowering cycle is about 9 to 10 weeks. During this time, compact, heavy-looking flowers form, densely covered with glistening trichomes. Under optimal conditions, up to 900 g/m² indoor are possible, which catapults Amnesia into the upper league of high-yielding strains. The medium-high to high yields make it interesting for everyone looking to use their space efficiently without sacrificing quality.

Outdoors, the plants reach average heights of 170 to 200 cm. Harvest time is from the end of September to mid-October, and per plant around 700 g is possible, provided that location, light, and nutrient supply are right. Aromatically, Amnesia shows its intense side: Even in the grow room, the flowers spread a strong, lemony scent, accompanied by creamy notes reminiscent of freshly pressed olive oil. When consumed, nutty and slightly hazy nuances are added, rounding off the flavor. The smoke or vapor remains clearly present in the room and on the palate and carries the characteristic Amnesia fingerprint that many consumers immediately recognize.

With a THC content of around 25 % and very low levels of CBD and CBN, the effect is clearly noticeable.
