The cross between Future #1 and Emperors Cookies was developed to combine extremely high cannabinoid levels with a clear, fruity Terpene profile – ideal if you prefer modern genetics with a strong character.

The basis is formed by Future #1 and Emperors Cookies (Emperor OG x Girl Scout Cookies), two lines that are already known for their strength and multi-layered flavor profile. Captain Future is a predominantly sativa-dominant hybrid with 70% Sativa / 30% Indica and usually grows to 110–130 cm indoors. It is suitable for both indoor cultivation and protected outdoor locations and displays vigorous, easily controllable growth.

In the grow room, the flowering time is 10–11 weeks, while the outdoor harvest is about mid-October. Under optimal conditions, plants can achieve a yield of around 600 g/m² and up to 900 g per plant. Captain Future harmonizes particularly well with the SCROG method, allowing you to better control height and promote an even canopy of flowers. Due to the heavy, voluminous buds, it can make sense to support individual branches.

The flowers are medium to large, retain a compact, pine cone-like shape and are densely covered in light trichomes. Despite the sativa-heavy genotype, the chunky, very firm buds are more reminiscent of indica-typical structures and feel exceptionally resinous and sticky when processed. This also makes Captain Future interesting for projects focusing on pronounced resin production and aromatic concentrates.

In terms of taste, an intense fruit profile dominates: pineapple meets clear citrus notes with a subtle tropical nuance. With a THC content of up to 36%, this strain is among the stronger varieties and is usually described as distinctly cerebral and stimulating before deeper relaxation sets in. Captain Future is therefore more suitable for experienced users looking for a powerful, modern sativa-dominant strain with expressive aroma and high performance in cultivation.
