Banana Kush Cake Auto by Sensi Seeds
Banana Kush Cake Auto is 75% indica and 25% sativa. The strain has impressive genetics: Wedding Cheesecake, Banana Kush and Hindu Kush Auto. It is one of Sensi Seeds' newest strains, developed as part of their 2021 research project. This automatic strain has an average flowering time and reaches a medium height. It was named after its distinctive skunky banana aroma.
This is the autoflowering version of the strain. This means that even inexperienced growers should have success with it, as there is no need to calculate light exposure or remove male plants. On average, growers can expect a flowering time of seven to nine weeks, but this can vary depending on the exact phenotype of the plants.
The plants tend to be compact in size, which is useful for those who have limited space or want to grow inconspicuously. Their appearance can vary, but generally they have a sturdy central stem with closely spaced nodes and a conical shape that is wider at the base than at the top, according to research for Sensi Seeds.
One thing that doesn't usually vary is the size of the yield. For an autoflowering strain, Banana Kush Cake is capable of producing impressive harvests; something that growers particularly appreciate. The buds are dense, cone-shaped and close together. Some "run" to the upper stem and branches, and the clusters remain dense, not open. They are also covered in copious amounts of glistening, sticky resin, and the pistils sometimes turn pink and orange.
Banana Kush Cake Auto is indica-dominant. This is evident in the size and appearance of the plants and the resulting high. One will notice the calming, dreamy effect of the strain, combined with a hint of stimulating "buzz", which is due to the sativa genetics. Bench Note: Although this is an automatic variant, the high is still strong. Therefore, inexperienced users should approach with caution.
The flavor of the plants is subtle and skunky with notes of sweet citrus and banana - in fact, it is this smell that gives the strain its name. The aroma becomes stronger as the plants grow, but never overpowering.
