Jungle Lava by Original Sensible Seeds
If you're looking for a potent, sedative, and relaxing strain, then Jungle Lava by Original Sensible Seed Company Seeds is just the thing for you! This feminized strain has a high THC content of 33% and is mostly indica (75% indica, 25% sativa).
The genetics of this strain come from a cross between Lava Cake and Jungle Cake, resulting in a unique and delicious flavor. The taste is deep, earthy, and sweet with hints of cookie and marshmallow flavors. The aroma is similar, with deep earthy notes and a sweet scent of cake.
Jungle Lava has a flowering time of 60-65 days and produces a yield of 550 g/m2 indoors and 700 g/pp outdoors. Harvest is at the end of September.
This strain has a powerful effect and is ideal for anyone looking for a strain that leaves them deeply relaxed and in a dream-like state. It's perfect for use at the end of the day or when you simply have time to relax and forget the world around you.
At Original Sensible Seed Company Seeds, we know that quality is important, which is why we make sure all our seeds are of the highest quality.

The short version: Easy to grow, huge stretch, great yield, beguiling taste, long, strong effect (!) -> a great strain -> great for chronic pain patients, because I'm one of them, The detailed version: The basic setup was as follows. Tent: 120x60x160 hydroponics: Atami Wilma Small Wide initially equipped with 8x AeroGrow19 V2 and 8 different varieties, 4 plants were moved to another tent towards flowering.
Lamp: Nemesis 250W from Grow the Jungle. 18/6 and later 12/12 Fertilizer: Grow Guide Atami Hydro A+B, Bloombastic, Rokzbastic, AtaCalMag Germination: A "normal" sized rockwool cube (2x2 cm) is best placed in a water bath overnight the evening before. I set the water for the rockwool cubes to around 5.3 pH. As rock wool is slightly alkaline, it is easy to achieve a pH of 5.5-6.2. I also add 1 ml of Hydro A+B per liter of water to the rock wool water, plus a root accelerator. With Atami, for example, both Rootbastic and Root Booster work really well. As a layman, I have not noticed any difference in the result. It works for me, that's enough for me. Tip: Take the rockwool cube dripping wet out of the water bath and widen the pre-drilled hole with a spike (I use the one from a Swiss army knife). I've found it works best to insert the spike about 1 cm (pi times thumb - about halfway) and let it circle a little conically (the larger radius at the top, the smaller radius at the bottom) until a small cavity has formed. The seed then goes in there. I take a bit off one corner and place the piece as a cap on the hole, not light-tight, but loose. Important: The hole should be closed towards the bottom, otherwise the seed will slip through.
I use the plastic pot of a 12-cup SuperCloner for germination. I pour the residual water in which the rockwool cubes were soaked into the water tank. This is more about the evaporation moisture. The cubes are placed on the tray, the lid remains closed for the time being.
Germination takes about 5-8 days this way, sometimes a little longer. The small cave for the germ minimizes losses. Before I did it this way, I lost many plants during germination because instead of moving upwards, they moved downwards or sideways. Seedling phase: Watch them grow, that's all it takes. If the lamps are too hot, make sure that the rockwool cubes never become dust-dry. And because it would otherwise be too easy: never overwater when re-moistening, otherwise the seedling will also die. As soon as the first root tips emerge from the rockwool, the plant should move. As I work with the AeroGrow, this is quite easy. The plant is simply moved, the lid closed and the water connected. Vegetation phase: Fast, tree-like growth, no shock, neither after moving nor after topping, you must not give the plant so much nitrogen, it utilizes it incredibly well. The Atami Hydro Booster Uni, for example, provides a lot of it. Dose sparingly here. Flowering phase: The plant stretches approx. 50-80 cm during flowering. This can also happen very quickly. I wasn't there from Friday to Sunday. During the three days, a side branch sprouted across the crown and grew into the lamp. I also had to remove two other side shoots. That was about 34-45% of the plant that died as a result. More than a third was lamp growth loss. In the stretch, the plant needs a lot of intensive training if the height of the tent is limited. The plant becomes woody and stiff very quickly. If you miss the right time window, you can only let it grow or cut it off. After the stretch, the plant no longer grows in height. The only thing that grows then are the flowers. These become huge, massive, sticky and resinous. The buds look like large goose legs. They are easy to harvest and can be trimmed reasonably well. Despite the many growing mistakes, more than 60 grams remained after curing and drying. Without the mistakes, it would probably have been around 100 grams. In relation to the 62.5 watts (250 watts on 4 plants in a tent), this is a respectable result. Effect and taste: The effect starts with an intensely hazy sativa boost. After the first 5 minutes, you wonder if there's anything in it at all. It is light and invigorating. After that, the deep, relaxing effect sets in more and more. Over time, you realize how dense you are.
This is a nice strain to end the day with.
What I particularly like about this strain is the long, lingering effect. Sometimes I have more problems with my ulcerative colitis. Two sachets in the evening help me to sleep despite the flare-ups. When you wake up, you may still be slightly dense. This is very beneficial for a patient with constant pain like me. You can start the day feeling more rested because you have slept better and don't feel as much pain in the morning. For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that it really pops. This strain is probably less suitable for recreational users. While I, as a pain patient, become more vital after a few puffs because my internal pain is soothed, it knocks "recreational consumers" out of life for several hours after a few puffs. For me, the taste is best described as "beguilingly musty". It's somehow a mixture of burnt cake residue that you scrape out of the tin with a fork, you don't know what tastes so good in there, but you want to taste it again. The room fills with thick swathes of sword-carrying sweet smoke. You can't smoke this variety in secret. Hot box friendly.
