Desfran by Dutch Passion
Desfrán is a legendary variety in South America and has already won several prizes at many Cannabis Cups. Desfrán is the result of crossing Destroyer with Destroyer. It was originally a 3-way cross of the Mexican Oaxaca, the Colombian Punto Rojo and Meao and came to Dutch Passion thanks to Alberto from Argentina. Alberto is a master grower, a cannabis connoisseur and the owner of Haze Magazine. Our first project together was the introduction of Desfrán in Europe.
During vegetative growth, Desfrán requires few nutrients. It grows well in soil and especially well when it has plenty of space for the roots. However, it also grows vigorously with other growing methods. Desfrán is 100% sativa, so it can grow very tall and develop long branches that can dominate the airspace/grow room in no time. During vegetative growth, the stem can produce intense fruity aromas when rubbed.
In the flowering phase, the plant stretches and can triple in height. Desfrán is a very resinous variety suitable for SOG and SCROG growing methods and usually takes 9-10 weeks to flower. Desfrán has a fruity aroma of pears and green apples, the taste is reminiscent of eating pear caramels with a hint of grapes and melons.
Desfran produces unusually dense and compact flowers for a Sativa. When dried, the flowers look like glazed pinecones.
Early harvests can lead to a very cerebral and psychedelic high, if you harvest Desfrán late she tastes a little sweeter and is a real destroyer. Desfrán is one of the best varieties Alberto has ever seen and we hope you feel the same.
The aroma and flavor of Desfran is fruity, with notes of green apple, pear, grape, melon and sweet treats. It produces a powerful mental effect and feeling of euphoria.
